Rattling Tongue Theatre Company Ltd in association with Josef Weinberger Ltd present the UK premiere of

A Body of Water by Lee Blessing

Directed by Hamish Gray

"We are all afloat on a huge sea of assumptions"

Lee Blessing is the winner of the 2006 Steinberg New Play Award for A Body of Water.

A man and a woman awake in a house on the top of a mountain surrounded by water, with no memory of who they are or how they got there.

Lee Blessing's dreamlike chamber piece exploring Alzheimer's unfolds a fragile love story while exploring the fluid nature of memory.

Is Wren the daughter of these two befuddled, middle aged people she visits? Is she their lawyer, caretaker, tormentor or  a mere figment of their imagination?

Who would we be if we had no memory to locate personal identity?
