Daniel Wain founded Daniel Wain Consulting Limited http://www.danielwain.com in August 2007. The company's three core specialisms are:

  • Bespoke and creative learning & development consultancy
  • Customised delivery of face-to-face training, in areas of expertise such as communication & presentation skills, sales & business development, negotiating, performance management, people management and leadership
  • Senior-level, confidential & personalised one-to-one coaching in all of the above skills to increase personal impact, effectiveness & engagement.  

For many years, Daniel was Worldwide Director of Learning & Development at Research International: a global Top 10 market research consultancy, with offices in 56 countries, owned by the WPP Group. As well as designing and driving the company's worldwide learning & development strategy, Daniel personally delivered over 100 programmes to more than 1000 employees, from trainee to Board Director, and across the globe: the UK, the US, Latin America, Africa, Asia-Pacific (from China & Korea to Singapore, Hong Kong & Australia), and all of Continental Europe.

As well as now working with many other research agencies, Daniel's recent clients have also included those in the financial and transport sectors. He regularly trains for the Market Research Society (MRS), sits on their Personal Development Advisory Board and runs their Leadership Academy. Awarded an MA (with Distinction) in Human Resource Development in 2006, Daniel is a Chartered Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Personnel & Development (CIPD). He recently contributed an essay to the CIPD publication Reflections on the 2007 Learning & Development Survey and chaired a keynote session at their 2007 HRD Conference.  

In 2008, he has been invited to deliver a paper on 'Ten Years of L&D' at the World HR Congress. Having spoken at many other industry conferences over the years, he won the award for Best Presented Paper at the 2006 MRS Conference, spoke again at the Golden Jubilee Conference in 2007 and returns in 2008 to chair a debate on Employee Engagement. A regular contributor to a variety of business & academic journals, including People Management, Admap and HR Director, Daniel now writes a regular monthly column in Research magazine on 'people' and 'talent' issues.  

Paula Henstock has significant training experience gained from working in the finance industry for over ten years. She has designed, delivered and evaluated  training on appraisal, sales, customer service & systems. Paula has facilitation experience in course delivery, feedback delivery and meetings. She also has considerable management experience- previous roles have included management of projects, sales and man-management in both call centre and box office environments. Paula has has worked extensively in role-play and feedback delivery, facilitation, corporate video, and live corporate seminars. She now specialises in one to one coaching, often using role-play, in the areas of interview technique, questioning skills, appraising staff and customer service delivery.
